The GR34 crosses 5 departments (Manche, Ille-et-Vilaine, Côtes-d'Armor, Finistère and Morbihan) and allows you to discover all the facets of Brittany: Mont Saint Michel, the Emerald Coast, the fortified town of Saint-Malo, the bird sanctuary of Cap Fréhel, the Pink Granite Coast, the islands (Belle Ile, Molène, Batz, ...), the Pointe du Raz, Pont-Aven, Quiberon, the Lighthouse of Ile Vierge, the Pointe de Saint Mathieu, ...
The "sentier des Douaniers" takes its name from the 18th century when many smugglers tried to escape from the customs officers following the Finance Law of 1667.
Today, lovers of beautiful landscapes, trekking and simple pleasures such as walking are fond of holidays combining beach and hiking, and allowing them to discover the nature, but also the history of Brittany.
From Névez to Pont-Aven, the GR34 runs alongside the campsite: you can take the path 600m from the campsite! Many other small hiking trails are also to be discovered around Névez. There are also cycle tracks around the area to discover the surroundings.
Looking for accommodation on one of the stages of the GR34? The Vieux Verger campsite in Névez will meet your expectations:
Come and relax at the campsite in its swimming pool and rest in a comfortable mobile home! (2 nights minimum except July/August)
For a stopover during your trekking, the campsite also has 99 pitches for backpacking holiday enthusiasts!
Would you like to enjoy more comfort? Rent a Lodge tent (per night) equipped with good, soft beds! Take a rest in the middle of nature!
